Because of the outstanding reputation of this school and its close links with the community and school governors, only driven, enthusiastic teachers who genuinely enjoy being part of the development of their pupils education should consider this role as the position is to cover a long term maternity absence so you will build relationships with both your pupils and the wider community.

The hours for this position are as expected and will include the monitoring of breaks, lunches and early morning clubs so some element of flexibility is needed for this position but the rewards that this contract can provide are very strong in terms of responsibilities for your pupils, the opportunity to get involved in the school and the remuneration package on offer.

Besides the maternity cover absence it is also possible to gain an understanding and familiarity with this school on a day by day basis to provide cover for teacher absence.
